Medtronic engaged International Productions to manage the complex logistics of their multi-location National Sales Conference in Sydney. The conference theme, ‘Further Together’ focused on uniting employees and building new bonds within the rapidly expanding company. On a tight deadline, Medtronic required an expert creative team to deliver a seamless experience to bring their theme to life and facilitate unprecedented delegate engagement.


To create a dynamic, entertaining and informative plenary session, Andrew O’Keefe facilitated a live TV show format to engage guest speakers and communicate key conference messages allowing unparalleled delegate participation in discussions across the conference.

Without a centralised convention centre in Sydney to host a large conference, Medtronic’s 20+ breakout sessions were successfully split between two centrally located hotels – Sheraton on the Park and Swiss Hotel – providing a convenient and deluxe location for the event.

The social program across the conference allowed delegates to connect with new team members. A circus themed networking event transported delegates to a childhood setting where friendships are formed in an instant, while the Oscars themed gala awards night, hosted at the Pavilion, Darling Harbour, provided delegates with an opportunity to suit up in Black Tie.


The variety of educational and social elements in the program provided delegates an abundance of different and engaging experiences in Sydney, resulting in a successful campaign. The client was able to communicate objectives and key messages with employees, while showcasing an outstanding event.
